How the system works...In a nutshell
The InTouch OBD device is powered from the vehicles OBD connection (even when the vehicle is off). The device gets its own location from satellites, the sends that information to our data center where it is accessible by you via our online web portal. When you purchase a device, your personalized web portal is created and the access information is sent to you via email.
 
How the device plugs in...
OBD stands for On Board Diagnostics. ALL vehicles that are 1996 or newer have the OBD plug as it was mandated by the transportation authority. Our device gets power and vehicle info from this plug and then transmits it back to our data center where you can access it via our online web portal.
